Our Story Helping the Local Community

At NRG Drilling, we’re a family business built on hard work and local knowledge. Based in Gympie, we’ve been part of the community since 2004, helping homes, farms and rural properties across the Wide Bay–Burnett region access clean, reliable water through professional water bore drilling.


What started as a small operation with one rig has grown into a trusted name for dependable service and practical results. We know the land here – its red soils, rocky ground and shifting water tables – and we drill with that understanding every day.


Our work’s about more than machinery; it’s about helping locals live and farm with confidence. Every bore we drill, clean or maintain carries the care, pride and experience of a team that stands by its word – and its work.
